Dr. Hong Kim has served as a CEO of HK Tech since 2012. Prior to this position, he had worked since 1990, as an environmental manager at Gold and Coal mine companies, as a faculty of Mining Engineering at University of Nevada-Reno and University of Alaska-Fairbanks, as a senior professional at Civil Engineering Consultants, URS Corporation, and Golder Associates. His professional careers have been built in the arenas of mining engineering, geotechnical engineering, geo-environmental engineering, and water resources engineering. He has technical experience in mine environmental engineering, mineral resources/ore reserves estimates and economic evaluation, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, and mine operation and project management. His industry commodities experience includes coal, iron, molybdenum, gold, silver, zinc, nickel, and copper. He is a professional engineer registered in Nevada. He is a registered member of Society of Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) and also fulfills the requirements to be a qualified person for the purpose of Canadian NI 43-101 reporting for mineral resources/reserves estimates.
